Portal is one of my favorite video games. I prefer Portal 1 over Portal 2, mostly because of its really short length. I really love how I can sit down one night, decide I want to play Portal, and be watching the credits roll within a few hours.

Speaking of the credits, Portal does something really cool. In my opinion, every game should have a banger credits scene. I suppose a lot do. Both Portal games, Slime Rancher (but not Slime Rancher 2, unfortunately), Minecraft, and Undertale are the ones just off the top of my head.

If you haven't played Portal yet, you definitely should. It's a lot of fun. My dad can't seem to wrap his head around it, though. I've been trying to get my sister to play it too, but she never wants to. Maybe I'll try again on her next break from school. Although, she might want me to play for her during the turret levels and maybe some of the escape levels. She gets scared easily. Fun Fact! When we first got Minecraft on the PS4 she got completely petrified by the squid in the ocean. It was really funny.

But I digress. This was made in my early days of learning C++ (which I learned with learncpp.com, a great website which I would highly recommend). The code in here is an absolute mess. I talked about it in the devlog (which is in the top right box of the screen in the video), and at the time I thought it was really well made. It is NOT really well made. Actually, I would prefer if you don't look at the code at all.

I have aspirations of someday remaking this so it is neater, more portable, more robust, and runs on Linux, but I probably won't do that.

I'm done rambling now.

If you want to read more of my rambling, you can read that in my devlog, which is in the top-right box of the video. Again, I talk about the code like I'm a genius, but it is HORRIBLE.

Here's the video: Link. Enjoy!
